In the "Initial environment setup" section, it is stated that

Set cross compile variable.

   export CROSS_COMPILE=arm-none-linux-gnueabi- 

But, in tag v1.8 that's not true: The used variable is CROSS, not CROSS_COMPILE

In the "Building Kernel Image with Bridge Driver Support (git tree approach)" section, the listed branch "origin/bridge-2.6.29" no longer exists. As of 3/4/2010, the possible branches are:

 origin/android-bridge-2.6.29
 origin/dspbridge
 origin/dspbridge-next-camelcase
 origin/dspbridge-next-camelcase2
 origin/dspbridge-pm
 origin/for-L23I3
 origin/for-L23I3-next

 origin/master

Not sure which one should be used...

 My recommendation is to start with one of the community releases. It will pull in the right bridge for the kernel.
